Ember Rope
Ember ropes are 100% cotton braided with a brass collar to help easily maintain the ember. Includes 1 ember rope about 10 inches long each. Has to be initially started with a lighter to create char. After the first time it is easily ignited into an ember with a flint and steel or ferrocerium rod or remnants of your fire before you break down camp and snuff out the fire. When you get ready to start your next fire, you use it like char cloth, placing it into nest of tinder and blowing it into a fire, as soon as the grass lights up you pull the rope back and snuff out the ember until you are ready to use it again to carry an ember to your next campsite.
